Types of Health Insurance
- HMO - Health Maintenance Organizations - Will only cover in network doctors & services, they typically cost less in that there are usually no deductibles and they cover a higher percentage of costs than traditional plans.
- POP - Premium Only Plan - Will cover in network and out of network doctors & services in network claims are paid out at higher percentage than out of network doctors which are subject to a preset amount agreed upon by the carrier and physician.
